I really hate the Uplay client. I decided to leave my computer on overnight to download a very large game called wildlands. I don’t have the best Internet connection currently so it’s gonna take me a couple of days to download it as it is. The reason I hate the Uplay client is because it doesn’t save as it’s downloading content. Basically, it doesn’t actively save like the Steam client does when it’s downloading games. So you could probably see where this is going…
Last night I lost power in my office. All those hours that it was downloading overnight… I lost all that progress. This wouldn’t be such a big deal if everybody in the United States had a reasonable Internet connection. But we don’t all have that. Please fix the Uplay client or just switch back over to Steam like every other reasonable developer.
