Follow Up On New World Storage Issues

Hey, guys and gals, I wanted to talk about the new New World update that just came out a few days ago and then a hot fix for it came out a few days or a few hours later because it broke basically crafting in the entire game. It made it next to impossible to get anything done because you were not able to craft things when the resources were in storage. So you would have to go to your storage, unloaded it onto your character and then go to the crafting station of your choice and craft. Which is opposite from what everybody’s used to doing. So that fix has fixed that, but there are undiscovered new bugs, I am sure of it. Also, there are some other bugs that were introduced with this larger update. For example, the storage containers or storage sheds in the cities also will tell you that your storage is full when it’s not.

I was talking to a company/guild mate tonight about a unique item limit set on these storage sheds as well. So there’s the storage weight, and then there’s a a counter for unique items. So as of right now, at least in my case, the biggest place that I have storage is in a town called Windsward. It has a ton of storage space. However, I keep running into the unique items storage limit, which is 500 unique items. Why this was introduced to the game, I’m not sure. I don’t know if it’s been there from the beginning. I don’t know if it was part of this most recent patch, but I personally despise it and I think it needs to be removed. I think having a limit on the unique items in a storage location makes no sense. The weight limit, that’s fine, that makes total sense, you know? You know, stuff as much stuff into your storage as you want, but having a limit. An arbitrary limit on unique items that are in storage in that particular town. That doesn’t make any sense to me. So that would be that would be great to be removed.

The other thing is a side note, I guess, last night I did go through a normal dungeon run with my guild mates and the dungeon was called Lazarus. And we also did the newly updated, mutated or mutators version as well, only the level one. But still, it made a big difference in the difficulty in the game. Honestly, I highly recommend it. It was a lot of fun. Running them back to back, though, did make me pretty tired at the end of the night, but it was totally worth it being able to learn the new dungeon and then also getting a little taste of what the mutations are like.

I’m Going to wrap up this post by saying that I have some new New World videos in the works and those will be posted here and on YouTube and everywhere else very soon. So that’s all I got for now.

Note: This post was written/transcribed from the audio that I recorded sharing my thoughts on the matter.
