Uh oh, I made some people angry. So I decided I need to make a regular video on it, not just a short. People are mad because I said the new Halo crossover War Bond for Helldivers 2 is kind of mid and apparently that's blasphemy. So it's wild because I mean even the my opinion on it saying that it's mid is mid and people are really butthurt about it. There's a lot of comments that I had to delete. Some I had to report all, all that for just having an opinion of the new war bottom being mid. So in this video I'm gonna just expand on that a little bit. First and foremost, the main reason I said it was mid is to me it's just more cosmetics, a whole lot of just fluff and a perk to the armor. That should be a perk on all of our scout armor already. And that's detecting pois. It's either like 20 or 30% in a wider radius, something like that. But don't get me wrong, like skins are cool, they look cool, whatever. The new weapons always welcome new weapons. But at the end of the day, the game needs more work itself. Like it doesn't need more cosmetics, especially more cosmetics that don't really. Or more war bonds that don't really come with any gameplay changes. You know what I mean? If they had a separate team dedicated to just like spitting out lots and lots of cosmetics for people, fine, you know, but they don't. Okay, so let's go back to what I'm talking about on what the game needs to be worked on. First of all, there are still plenty of bugs. Second of all, this is a PvE game, not a PvP game. And yet we keep constantly playing this pissing match back and forth, forth with the developers about whether a weapon should be quote unquote, balanced or not. This is the dumbest argument that they can make. They keep saying, oh well, we need to maintain balance so they're not overpowered and blah blah, blah, blah. And then they have the audacity to also say realism. Guys, we're in space, we're in this futuristic made up universe. Realism is way far out the door a long time ago. And now that we're mixing Halo into it, you're gonna say realism also? I mean, come on, the realism argument needs to go second of all, or whatever plane I'm on at this point, the balance arguments are stupid. You just need to make weapons that are fun to use and that's it. Like, stop trying to make things super complicated. Oh, all the weapons need to be roughly the same damage because what that does is it creates a game that's just stupidly boring. And I love this game to death. I have hundreds, if not thousands of hours at this point clocked into it. If you're a familiar regular viewer to my channel, you would know that I have probably hundreds of videos at this point of me playing the game with friends and myself and just talking about the game. So I do have a little bit of background to know what the hell I'm talking about here. I just think the game needs to be worked on from a gameplay perspective. A fun. A fun ness. It being fun aspect and less on cosmetics and war bonds. And I know war bonds are partially or probably at this point mainly how they make their money, so that's fine. But I think the players that you know are out there that are just licking the boots, so to speak because a brand new shiny warbot has come out and it's so cool looking, you need to get a grip and you know, echo, echo their opinions on what needs to actually be changed in the game other than cosmetics. Cosmetics can stay. The cosmetics can keep coming. I'm not saying they can't. I'm just saying the game itself needs work because. And this is gonna make some people mad too. And I'm sorry if it does. And it hurts me to say it because I love this game to death. It's. It was. Was. Slash is my favorite game to date, but it is dying slowly. It is. And it's because we are too focused on the issues I previously mentioned, like balance. This is a sci fi game where you just. It's a sci fi horde shooter game that has nothing to do with PvP at all. So this whole balance argument is stupid. Get rid of it, move on. Realism, same thing. Stupid. Get rid of it, move on. And there's plenty of other list listicles that I could list that. That need to be fixed in the game and maybe I'll cover those in a separate video. But the game just needs work and less cosmetics. So that's my opinion and I just. I'm gonna keep putting out videos like this both in shorts form and in regular form because they seem to piss people off. And in the world, the entertainment world we live in, engagement is engagement no matter what kind. So I guess I'm just gonna keep providing my opinion because at the end of the day, people keep asking me for my opinion on these things. So I don't see why I can't provide it when there's just a handful of people that are being whiny little bitches about it. So that's what I'm going to leave it with.
