Hello there everybody. Silent Wisher here with a off the cuff off the cuff non-scripted video. Uh specifically talking about Power World cuz somebody said something in my Discord server uh the other day that just really I guess set me off, triggered me. Um, and they were talking about POW World, which is a game that I love. It’s near and dear to my heart, and I have hundreds and hundreds of hours in this game, and I just love it to death. I’ve beaten it, replayed it, beaten it, replayed it. The footage you’re seeing right now in the background is of the 1.0 update. I haven’t done a full completion of that yet. But what I wanted to talk about this game is it’s not just a a uh a Nintendo clone of a game that will remain nameless cuz that company is scummy and we don’t like them. Um but this game has so many things to do. [snorts] I would honestly venture to say that this game is borderline an MMO at this point minus the massive servers. So what do I mean by that? I mean you can do so many different things and you can also do it in a multiplayer environment or on your own. So you could play on a server. I don’t know what the server player cap is. Doesn’t really matter. We’ll just say it’s like 30 or something um just for the sake of this conversation. So, you could have a whole bunch of your friends and you can join in and out and do whatever all you want or you could self-host. It’s great. Now, what I mean specifically regarding you could do anything. Well, let’s go over some of the things. You can build a base. So, uh factory builder, right? That covers a specific genre of games. It’s got guns. We love guns, right? It’s got pals, which is the, you know, uh, collecting type of game, and having buddies and summoning and stuff. [snorts] So, people that like to do summoning builds in various games like Terraria or other games can like this. By the way, there’s a Terraria crossover, and there’s tools and pals that are, you know, from that game. So, that’s cool. Um, [snorts] there’s a metric boatload of technology. I’m going through fast here cuz I don’t necessarily want to spoil it, but I also just want to show you there’s swords, there’s lightsaber like swords, there’s rocket launchers, machine guns, bow and arrows, P90s, uh drone summoners. I mean, the list goes on and on. There’s pals you can ride. There’s pals that can shoot missiles. I mean, if you know anything about this game, you know, it’s very combat heavy, which is great, but you don’t have to do just combat. So, as of level 70, what I was previously working on, as you can see in my inventory here, I [snorts] have a metal detector that’s used to find special ores and stuff. I have various guns that I can use. I have a sphere launcher, which is like the the POW balls used to capture pals. Um, I have a uh a tool that allows me to, you know, mine and stuff. So, if you like to just mine aimlessly and collect resources and, you know, send it into your factories, you could do that. Um, I have a fishing pole. You can go fishing. That’s you could literally level from zero. Well, I don’t know about zero, but level from like five, maybe 10, all the way to the end just by fishing if you wanted. You could do that. You could do that with mining. Well, I don’t know if you can do that with mining. I don’t know if you get XP. Let’s Let’s check real quick. I don’t think you do.
Hold on. Get rid of the pal here. It looks like you get a little bit of XP. I might be too close to the base, but anyway, regardless, you could do whatever you want. And you could do it with friends or without. And then there’s pal breeding, which is this right here. You assign some pals. I don’t know where the other one is, but anyway, you signs of pals, you give them special food, they do their thing, and then you can multiply them. You could do surgery on them to give them better stats, like implants essentially. Um, where’s the combiner thingy? Um, you could farm dungeons and drops and get better and better schematics and upgrade those. As you can see, there’s a ton of them. This is what I was trying to look for. You can get a bunch of pals, have them breed, and then you can combine them, make them higher level. This is a core mechanic, by the way. And the reason I’m pointing this out is because the person in my Discord was mad that people were talking about the best like way to get level up the pals or to get them higher level. I was I was Oh, it was so hard for me not to go, “Bro, you need to shut up.” That’s literally a huge point of the entire game. If you look at this level or this pal, you see it’s two stars. I can level him up two more times. You look at this one and this one, they’re four stars. They’re max level. Awesome. That’s great. You You get a bunch of them here. I’ll just show you. You get a bunch of them. You combine them. Boom. That’s one star. And then you do it again, and that’s another star. I’m not going to do it with this one, but you get the point. That’s literally the whole point of the game. He the person that brought it up just spoke as if the game is all about meta. And it’s like, well, yeah, sure. It could be whatever you want. You could be an explorer. You could be a meta player. You could focus on raids. There’s uh where is it? There’s arenas. There I can’t find it. I think it’s right here. Yeah, there’s arena battles. There’s raid bosses. There’s dungeons that you can go in. There’s dungeons you can send your pals in. There’s base building. I’m repeating myself here, but I haven’t even explored the whole map yet uh for this 1.0 version. It’s basically, like I said, an MMO at this point. And I can’t imagine that they’re going to stop development because there is just so much more that they can add. And I I’m just I love this game to death. I I love that more and more people are getting into it. And I think the most recent peak player count was like 850,000 or maybe a million, something like that over the weekend, which is a big uh, you know, middle finger to the company that tried to take this game down. Uh, you know, so yeah. Anyway, there’s there’s lots of stuff you can do and if you’re even remotely interested in it, you should definitely get it. And no, it’s not a paid video or sponsor or anything like that. Not in any stretch of the imagination. And if there’s something in the game you don’t like, you can pretty much customize all of the settings. Like for example, [snorts] um the pals that are breeding, right, they lay eggs. Uh you can also collect the eggs throughout the world as well. I don’t know what’s going on here. Male and female not present. I wonder what happened there. Anyways, um while I figured that out, you can collect the eggs from anywhere and then you can bring them to an incubator and you can put them in there and hatch them. Now, there’s sometimes uh depending on your settings, there’s like temperature and uh how long the the egg takes to hatch and all that, but you don’t have to do that. You could just turn that all the way down and as soon as you have an egg, you could just plop it in there and hatch it essentially. So, there’s really no reason to say, “Oh, I’m not going to play it cuz I can’t change this one thing.” You can. You can totally change it. You can change work speed. You could change capture rate, how much health you have, how much health you regen, everything, pretty much damn near everything. So, if you’re remotely interested in this game, definitely get it. [clears throat] I’m thinking about doing a a community server. I’m not 100% sure cuz normally I play by myself, but you can uh let me know if you would uh actually play on a community server if I had one. Um it’s an interesting concept. Oh, and then another thing, there’s base defense. So, if you like base defense, you can do that. I have that setting off cuz I don’t personally like it, but you can do that, too. There’s, let me see if I can find an example. There’s literally technology you can get for your base. That is traps. There’s traps. Whoops. There’s traps. There’s Hold on. That’s not even the best part. There’s traps. There’s defensive walls. There’s mounted crossbows. There’s machine gun nests. There’s rocket launcher nests. I mean, the list goes on and on. And then, of course, during a raid, there’s the mounted machine gun right there. So, you could set up like a defensive base and just deal with raids, too. Like, there’s just so much to do. There’s the mounted missile launcher. Um, you get the idea. I’m rambling now, but I wanted to make this video because I had to get my frustrations out because I’m not going to just let people just say, “Oh, this game is this or that.” and just kind of talk bad about it when they know nothing about it, you know? I mean, it’s fine to have an opinion, but it’s like, you know, if you’ve never played the game to completion, you don’t really know what you’re talking about, right? I don’t know.
