New World: Rise of the Angry Earth

Amazon’s New World is set to receive its first major expansion, Rise of the Angry Earth, on October 3, 2023. Priced at $29.99, this expansion brings a plethora of new content and improvements to the game.

One of the most anticipated features is the introduction of mounts. Players can now tame and name horses, dire wolves, and lions, each with dye-able equipment. This addition also comes with a new Riding Trade Skill for earning upgrades for your mounts.

The expansion increases the level cap to 65 and the gear score cap to 700, alongside a boost to the Trade Skills level to 250. With this, a new faction quest and tier full of gear and items are added, promising an enriched crafting experience.

A new weapon type, the Flail, makes its debut, offering a versatile one-handed weapon choice that can pair with a shield in your off-hand. This weapon allows arcane magic to enhance attacks, buff allies, or debuff enemies.

Moreover, the expansion unfolds a transformed zone at the southeastern tip of Aeternum, now overrun by the forces of Artemis and the Angry Earth. Players will encounter new threats and explore the changed landscape in this area.

Lastly, a new expedition called The Savage Divide and a new Heartrune ability named Primal Fury are introduced, offering fresh gameplay challenges.
